BREAKING NEWS……Rock Hall Revival 2023 Funding Bid Submitted!

We submitted the bid to the National Lottery Heritage Fund today. It was a team effort!

We want to thank Sam Elliot at Bolton Council and her colleagues, Stephen and his colleagues at Buttress Architects and Heritage Trust Network for helping with the bid and our Charity’s Trustees for their support. We can safely say that it is the best funding bid application for Rock Hall that we could possibly have written.

We really hope that the Heritage Fund agree to fund our project in September. If they do, it will be completed in two stages i.e. Development Stage and Delivery Stage, so the funding would be awarded in 2 separate stages. We want to thank the community for your continuing support and we hope to be celebrating with you in September, but there are no guarantees again. We just have to think positive thoughts!

Preparing the bid has felt like climbing a mountain but together we have almost reached the summit – we just need the National Lottery Heritage Fund to say YES now!
