EXCITING NEWS!
The National Lottery Heritage Fund have accepted our Charity’s EOI (Expression of Interest) for the re-application of our £4m (approx.) Rock Hall Project.

We have now been invited to submit a full funding application, which we are aiming to do in May. As we have said before, it feels as though we are climbing the worlds highest mountain again, with many barriers that we have to find a way through. As we are working in partnership with the Council, there are procedures that the Council need to complete too and relevant Officers are working hard to achieve a positive result for the project.

Last year, we were within touching distance of success only to fall off the ledge just before reaching the summit. It was devastating for our team after 3 years of hard work on the project. However, we dusted ourselves down and thanks to the support we have had from various sources, we decided to try again. Now here we are, having left Base Camp and once again heading to the final assent!

Will we reach the £4m Summit this year? There is no guarantee of success once again, but at least we can say that we tried once more. We wish to say a huge thank you to Sam and the other Officers at Bolton Council for the work they are doing and to our Architects (Buttress), the Heritage Trust Network and our other Professional Advisors who are all supporting our mountain climb this year. Over the next few weeks we will all be very busy with preparing the full funding bid application to the Lottery Heritage Fund but we do also have some free activities coming up too, so watch this space! Thank you for your continued support!
